Thanks Sporty, So fec is exploring green hydrogen as well. "Small" pilot projects are currently underway. As I understand it, green hydrogen is using renewable energy to separate hydrogen from water. They have plenty of sun in Cartagena and lots of water.  Blue hydrogen is extracting hydrogen from hydrocarbons. But Cabrales said green hydrogen. Interesting. Meanwhile we have Petro, ...more

We'll see on Feb 1st. My bet is 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada to send a message to everybody else. He's weaponizing trade. Something like 85% of the American economy is domestic. Only 15% depends on export income.

Yeah I'm reading some pretty wild stuff about his intentions: 1) crash the Canadian dollar by at least 25% making it much cheaper to buy stuff up in US dollar terms (oil companies, mines, forestry etc) 2) cause Canadian manufacturers to relocate to the US creating jobs there.

I'm pretty sure most minerals are sold in US dollars anyway that only benifits Canada when the dollars get exchanged back CAD from USD, basically getting a 40% premium on the Canadian side, since all business in Canada is done in Canadian dollars taxes/labour/energy costs
