My FF-ing investment
In September of 2017 I read a long promotional marketing piece published by The Equidia Letter which touted the stellar genius of Keith Neumeyer. It was very early in the morning and I probably hadn't any coffee yet, so based on the feel-good content of a marketing letter I invested in this company. On that day - a full 6 years ago - I paid 0.66 cents a share with gold at $1280.
Fast forward to today, many years later, and my investment is sitting at 0.12 cents with gold at $2060. In short, my investment is down 82% while gold is up 60%. My 66 cents never saw 67. They say that equity valuations are forward-looking, so you would hope that given the recent news of new high-grade gold occurrences with confirmation of new areas of mineralization, there would be just a modicum of enthusiastic forward price motion, even with the sad reality of further dilution. But with trading volumes in the hundreds of thousands the net effect on price has been exactly zero as we start another year. Glad I was awake enough on that September morning in 2017 to keep my stake relatively low.

I hear ya , and as many investors are in the same boat.just hard to comprehend gold up over $2000. And gold stocks down ,no interest in them because it's the share holders that get burnt, companies just seem not to create about the shareholders. Imho

Yes I read a similar article in June of 2012 but it was on Bitcoin no FF. I was so excited that I rushed out and bought a whole bunch at $29.60 and it immediately dropped to $4.70 by year end and never even got to $29.61. luckily it did recover and I was able to sell it at my entry point and broke even. :o)

Thanks as you know you have to get in early , as the dollar is on its,way out. The big boys have to replenish their supply and geopolitical issues getting worse there's never been a better time . A partnership or take out is more likely to happen imo
