Trade Restriction

I haven’t been following FIRE recently and I tried to sell some this afternoon. ITRADE didn’t let me - got a trade restriction error.  I didn’t see a halt, so I’m not sure what’s going on.  I’d appreciate it if someone could get me up to speed on current events.  Thanks.

Same here. Couldn't do anything. Bought them yesterday with no issues, but couldn't sell today, because of the same error. Was 3 hours and 15 minutes waiting on the phone to get though to iTrade. What a shitty service.

I also noticed that I have extra entries for Fire in my accounts, each with negative quantities. I think they f’d up.

Looks like. Hope by tomorrow they will fix it. Anyway moving away from iTrade. Scotiababk sucks in few fileds. iTrade is one of them.

I use the FlightDesk software and I think it’s great, so I’m staying with iTRADE. I was with RBC and QTrade before and their software is lame.

No, I tried to sell some FIRE near the close and that’s when I got the trade restriction message. I tried it in FlightDesk, mobile app, and their web app - same error across all devices.

Im with BMO investorline and have had no problems, I sold a few thousand today for some walking around cash.My only problem with BMO is they dont have a good handle on news releases. Sometimes they are late by a day or never appear at all. Bring on 6 bucks fire , by summer or sooner

Bckhoeg. Regarding the news releases it depends if it is issued through marketwired or not. If news releases are only issued on a company website they will not appear on brokerage sites. It’s a money grab I suppose but issuing news releases costs $$ through marketwired
