$6 per gram wholesale is non-competitive with black market

In its recently announced deal with FIRE, NAMASTE committed to 1,000 kilos at $6 per gram. The same quantity on the black market would be priced at $4 or lower. That's a sobering fact about the uphill battle LPs face in competing with criminals. Legalization is supposed to eliminate the black market for weed. Somehow, I don't think that's realistic.

Blackmarket cigarettes are cheaper than what you can buy them in the store for but I don't see the tabacco companies suffering. You think the CCBO is going to tell Supreme "you're price is higher than blackmarket, lower it or we're going to buy from blackmarket to stock our shelves".. idi0t

I never truly expect the black market to ever go away.... heck bootlegging and illegal tobacco still exist but certainly a very small part of the pie in relativity. Many people would prefer to do things above water for many of their own personal beliefs etc. SOme people don't even have a 'connection' or way to the balck market, others just won't step near it esp when you can walk ...more

I don't understand how people cannot see the forest for the trees. There will be cheap weed and expensive weed depending on the strains, the packaging, the quality etc. etc.. Seriously it's not about buying weed off your neighbor, it's about quality of product that will sell as it does in a regular market place with everything else. The choices will give the consumer a mix in variety ...more

Your so full of it. You always sell at the highest and buy back at the lowest. Always wait a few weeks to annouce so you dont look stupid. When you selling and buying back?
Comment by Tomharley on Jan 28, 2018 7:30pm
$3.30s and 2.40s is not the high and low. Moron. And it was so damn obvious and clear it wouldn't hold in the 3.00s. It was a gift to sell on that pop. And nice to buy back in 2.40s I tried for 2.20s but I'm not that good. Are you jealous you sit around and watch your money drop like a rock? Yupper you are.

This loser also posted a few weeks before this stating it would never hit 3$ now by some miracle he sold at 3.30$. Guy is complete bs.. someone who missed out completely and is super salty. He also deleted the 3$ post on page 39 or 40 of his post history. Too bad it still shows on the tab. Dont listen to this guy he just spits out whatever trash is in his head that day.
