complete left field thought here......
so have a thought.... wanted to see what others think of it... or if i'm just being rediculous.... but anyways.......here it is:
I wonder if Supreme was mentioning the 5:1 RS to try and shake the tree of the manipulators? I wonder because of the number of shares currently floating allows those with large share count / short positions to artifically create downward pressure. So would Supreme be doing so to limit the number of outstanding shares (i believe around 70 mil after full diluted and 5:1 RS) thus limiting the manipulators leverage?
So really..... is this a possible strategy or am i just out to lunch on this one? really i have thick skin so if this is idiotic please tell me. Trying to think 360 on this one...... thanks for anyone whom answers.

good point Gilbert..... i guess the less shares the more impact they would have...... didn't think about is that way.... yes i suspect Tilray will see a dive in Jan when those shares come to market...... but thank you for sharing your thought

If the split takes place in a volatile market, short sellers will destroy the share price and then the company can further dillute by issuing more stock. The fact this idea even came up is absurd. They must think sharehoders are idiots. The reverse split will do nothing but deplete your bank account.

Chill TF Out...Or better yet sell now and GTFOH with your fear mongering chicken-sh*t azz...The RS will give FIRE access to larger markets and the larger funds that do business on them.

@ King Lion : It is not necessary to use this kind of language here to be eared. You know you sound more like a scary cat then a lionking by doing so.

you hit the nail with the hammer jmc777. couldn't agree with you more. If they can raise more funds and fatten their own bank accounts, the company would be happy to throw the present shareholders under the bus.
