Fight the shorts - One solution for stockholders

One thing I've heard of people doing when a stock is notorious for being shorted, is have shareholder put their share up for sale on the ask side at a very high price.  So if you own 50k shares of a stock at 60c and you set a sell price(ask) for them at $10 those shares are no longer available for the shorts to borrow from the bank.  The idea is that the banks can not lend shares out that are in play, just how a card dealer can't hand you a card from the deck that is already on the table.

You guys are idiots! You think your 100 shares set to sell will stop hedge fund managers from shorting shares. Hahaha.

Every bit counts, don't listen to these guys on here.  It's a numbers game, and even the banks are starting to enforce it.  We are all essentially partners in these companies as stockholders, so I'm happy to give whatever information I have or crosses my screen.
