Long term contract with Labs

Release says  private label cannabis oil sales agreement.

MediPharm Labs’ private label program is a high margin business for the Company, whereby it opportunistically procures dry cannabis flower and trim from its thirteen product supply partners, to produce proprietary cannabis oil concentrate products for resale globally on a private label basis.

To date, MediPharm Labs has completed four private label wholesale agreements for cannabis oil concentrate supply (including Canopy Growth Corporation); five long-term cannabis concentrate program (tolling) agreements with James E. Wagner Cultivation Corp., Emerald Health Therapeutics, Inc., INDIVA Limited, The Supreme Cannabis Company, Inc. and TerrAscend Corp.

EMH has a
long-term cannabis concentrate program as does Supreme.

***We have little to do with this from what I see, but the concern people are having is reasonable.  It's my understanding that we are supplying them with the trim, and they are processing and bottling our products for a fee. https://www.supreme.ca/supreme-cannabis-to-launch-high-end-cannabis-oil-products-for-adult-use-market Supreme Cannabis, through its wholly-owned subsidiary,  ...more

Looks like an issue or issues with all companies but no details in the press release to the degree Supreme is involved or if the issue with Supreme is material or not. The agreement is for the processing of their trim to oil, Supreme is not buying oil or anything else from MediPharm Labs, it is a tolling arangement. Did they not supply the agreed amount for processing?...is there a dispute over ...more

I dont see any similarities in regards to the nature of the agreement Supreme had with LABs and the information Labs provided Friday. We know they are only making KKE oil and the agreement was for 1000kgm of trim over a three year period. This was announced at the end of 2018 at no charge to FIRE and LABS was to retain a processing fee only...So based off that we are in year two of the 1000kgm ...more

There is KKE Sensi oil as well South and the BlissCo, and any other extraction facilities planned, build out is still a ways away from completion and the demand for all product lines are going to increase huge to supply the product volumes necessary as guidance targets are met over the coming weeks/ months...they will more than likely need the extra capacity MediPharm Labs can provide and if not ...more

I agree they are a good partner in terms of product...I actually thought they were a good aquisition target in and around Nov/Dec 2018 when the agreement was made and LABs was under a buck... That being said I did reach out to IR on this and they have comfirmed the relationship is in good standing. The agreement between the two is what was disclosed and referenced in 2018. Nothing more.  ...more

The Claim does not separate FIRE out in the NR South, but it specifies a "private label cannabis oil sale agreement" and with FIRE having a tolling agreement it is clear the Claim does not specify FIRE and IR confirms this. It looks like MediPharm does good work and there is a lot of FIREproduct to shelve in the near term and going forward so there is probably advantage to maintaining a ...more

They wont need them soon enough Southy, seems to me that Supreme is cutting the middle man out of the equation as much as possible.  In-house genetics, packaging, extracts, premium flower, and soon in house pre rolls and vapes(this is the real definitions of a PRODUCER).  Noticed all the contracts we've signed with all these companies are small enough that we're not tied at the ...more

No details bk, but this MediPharm Labs 'class action' type claim does not mean FIRE's implication significant in anyway and maybe quite insignificant when details are made available. Dhaliwal was just not meeting the milestones necessary for the company at this time and was not the level of CEO, experience and track record, required for this company going forward and a different ...more

Not totally wrong but way to dark bk, it is clear that most in the sector have to retool and rethink their business models/plans but there is plenty of future ahead forthe sector...and FIRE is a prime example of what is required to be successful, of which will be abundantly clear over the coming months as guidance targets are met/ exceeded and profit is realized. The BM will be phased out to at ...more
