Typically this kind of filing indicates a need for cash shortly. With a max of $75M this would lead to massive dilution although they can try to raise lesser amounts in tranches. Each would require an additional filing with a smaller Prospectus allowing for a shorter timeframe before closing the issue of new shares.

Based on the books from last quarter, they have cash on hand.  We also know that major capital expenditure projects are complete and no money needs to be spent.  i assume there will be some tooling/equipment purchases for the bottling plant, but all minimal as the major cost was the greenhouse. We also can safely assume sales this month is probably the strongest they ever had based on ...more

I can confirm that they don't need cash shortly. They are well capitalized.  They are not announcing any financings in the short term as per the company. This is only a preliminary shelf filed - and they are doing it as an in case situation. (Aka debentures in 14 mths)  they may not use it or need it. That's word from IR.  again - goes back to how well the company ...more
