Massive hit job on pot stocks today.  aurora down 13% today - sheesh after the 12-1 they have been destroyed. All the majors down big too.  aleafia showed some strong earnings - showing that the mid size players are probably the safer bet in this sector.  fire up today - looks strong heading into earnings.  this will probably be a long haul to recovery - but we are ...more

ALEF.DB traded to almost 79 but offered at 75 now from the 30s in March. I wonder where FIRE equity will trade if/when (FIRE longs hope for when!) FIRE.DB trades at 75. Not many offers. Could get there quick on good news.

I guess the shine of the well managed ogi just wore off? no idea, but their lack of growth in sales in the rec market Im sure is a concern now.  OPT - ya broad market sell off - good excuse to execute the potstocks too.  Hey Method -  What are your thoughts on what aphria did with their debentures recently?  I thought what they did was excellent and were able to eliminate 127 ...more

Word on the street is that investors pulled out, and it's not as "fair play" as they made it out to be.  Worries of the SEC investigations coming to an end and that they are going to be in trouble moving forward.  We'll find out soon enough though, they've been treading water a long time with cooked books tied to their legs.

I liked it. I wish FIRE had a big a market cap as Aphria so they could do something similar. Those bonds have much more liquidity and have way longer until maturity. It's easier to pull off. Maybe Beena called Irwin after to find out who helped him out with that deal.  My hope is that if FIRE doesn't meet your expectations that, Beena can call Irwin to take FIRE out next July ...more
