There was plenty of discussion on this topic at the beginning of construction at 7acres md, as the existing facility was designed and built for a greenhouse grow operation....I believe the end result was a hybrid with some natural lighting ability of a stucture built for Canadian climate/winters, at least there was plenty of discussion along with the cheap source available from the Bruce facility. ...more

In my opinion, other than bugs, pests, and mould which would need to be irradiated, growing low end as the plants become more mature (longer growing cycle) and very big outside leaving a less desirable product, (think of veal and normal meat cows, the teens always would taste better of course) but would actually be a great way to cut electrical expenses and to compete against the lower prices ...more
