Lack of brand recognition

It has been several months sinze 7Acres was listed on the OCS's top 10 most searched brands, which it only lasted there for 2 months and the best it reached was 6th place on the list.  There hasn't been any other Supreme owned brands on that list which is very disappointing to see.

Redecan has been #1 since the very beginning and only recently was dethroned by SHRED which took #1 place which is an OGI brand.  If Supreme's brands are doing so well, then why isn't a single one of them on the top 10 list on the OCS site, yet a relatively NEW brand from OGI (only 4 months old) has taken the top spot??  What is OGI doing so well that gets such a high demand for their brands? HiWay nor Sugarleaf has ever seen that list, and disappointing that 7Acres was not able to maintain a position on there.

As much as you guys praise Supreme's branding and demand for their product is solid, it is not on the radar of consumers as much as you believe otherwise they would have brands listed here.

Need Beena to really show she knows how to excela at CPG and branding, and not do just a mediocre job.  3% QoQ recreational growth is not going to cut it here.

I got really excited when fire was top 10 brand 3 mths in a row.  we had flat rec sales over that same time period - it didn't matter.  To me - all that matters is the quarterly revenue numbers - and if they are hitting their financial goals.  I want to see quarterly, profitable growth, that's sustainable - and I don't really care about the rest. Ya 5% rec growth ...more

They need to deliver, plain and simple. It's one thing to be a top draft pick on paper, if they don't start delivering they'll be another statistic.  We all know their potential and supposedly all star management team, let's show shareholders what this company is capable of. So far it has been the next quarter, with numerous excuses. Good companies are innovative and ...more

I'm going to assume there is a direct correlation between ranking on that list (and how long you stay there) and sales. Redecan, Broken Coast, Soleil, etc are brands that have dominated that list, and in the case with Broken Cost and Soleil, you can see that reflect in Aphria's substantial revenue and market share. For OGI to launch a brand (SHRED) just a few months ago, and get #1 on ...more

I see what you are saying here Trans and I'm with you that supreme needs to do better....in many retrospect's.  when it comes to ur OCS top 10 comment I was too disappointed after those three months we haven't been back on. But it is the flavour of the month no? New brands hitting top ten and new offerings from other LPs could impact the 'viewed rate'. Lastly, online ...more

Personally, I feel that Humble & Fume haven't really done anything special since coming on, considering the amount of new stores that have opened in Ontario. I am not impressed. I hope they are leaving no stone unturned and are stuffing all stores and on top of that getting lots of reorders.

Will somewhat disagree here although seeing H&F direct impact is hard but I found a few things they do well.... they have a great social media presence with many of their reps continually posting about Supreme's products. Esp these days social media is very important to reach out to the public. The last few q's we saw an increase in store penetration but also an increase in # SKUs per ...more

The thing is 7acres seems to be amazing quality but how much does that matter in a market where every company has people saying their brands are the best.  They need revs .. 3000+ new skus according to last report.  Who knows.  Competition is stiff.  Being in this sector 4 years I learned one thing.  The big boys always run first.  Make ur gains there and then dabble ...more
