Would this Experiment Work?

Don't know what it might prove but might be a show of unity and strength for the retail investor, something organized short sellers have plenty of.

April 20 Is a big day for cannabis users. What if not one single retail investor* in this sector bought or sold a share that day? Screw the pot market for one day. I think it would be interesting to see if anything changed during the trading day with respect to pricing action. Of course I'm referring to the pirates who manipulate. How do they react without hinting they fix the prices? Would there be halts? Regulators might have to admit the prices can be fixed. Might clear up what exactly happens in a day with respect to hedge funds and financial institutions. Easier than writing a complaint and maybe speaks louder than words. But I haven't really thought it through, I just had this thought a few minutes ago....lol

* even someone who is thinking about getting into this sector. Hold off for one day.

Cool idea, not sure if it would do anything but still sounds like a fun experiment. The biggest problem is that it's impossible to reach out to every retail stock holder to carry this out.

Should run scenario through a quantum computer or simulator. Run all the data, algorithms and whatever and we'd see there's a very high probability the market is manipulated. Quantum computers may be our saving grace in the future as they will be extremely accurate. Shorting days may come to an end when a computer can smell them out....lol
