Uranium Play,

To the bandwagon jumpers,  you really should read up on this company,  You guys are making yourself sound as if you know what you are talking about regarding FIU.

If for a second you think that this is a Uranium play you know not what you talk.  This company is named wrong,  it's a gold producer, and has uranium as a secondary product  not it's primary business
THE URANIUM THEY PRODUCE/ MINE IS ALWAYS A BONUS  BUT !!!not it's main bread and butter earner.

So read up on the company before you make laims about the Uranium markets and how FIU fits in there.

err.. yes, it produces gold. but does it produce gold profitably? If you look @ the last quarter, they didn't produce any uranium, only gold, and eeked out a very small gross profit.  Even with gold @ 1200-1300!  There gold recovery rate is also pretty low. This will change with the new gold module coming on line.  Which is why I got in yesterday. If they can't be hugely ...more

I think you are missing the point. First Uranium is a PRODUCER of GOLD and URANIUM. These companies will have a major run. First Uranium PRODUCES both. If you think gold is not going anywhere but up, I suggest that you open your eyes to what is happening in the world economics. It is going to get worse. Secondly. I am not a bandwagon jumper but I am fairly confident this is the bottom fot FIU ...more

You say that the last Q they did not produce any Uranium only gold?Which Q are you talking about?  From what I have seen they did indeed produce Uranium, but if I recall they did not sell any. This latest Q they still produced Uranium even with the plant down, and that was because they produced it before the column failed. Q 3 I don't think you will see any U production. Now as far as ...more

I concede. My skimmed through the documents. Your comments makes me more bullish towards FIU. I only entered for the momentum play. I may stay for years. It all depends on the financial statement in Nov. https://www.bloomberg.com/apps/quote?ticker=MFURMDUR:IND This chart soothes me

Kownothing, you should do some DD before you invest or make a statement. First Uranium produces gold, I believe @ around $400.00/ounce taking into account the recovery of uranium. This makes them a very low cost producer.

lmao.so I've been reading the sedar documents, and wtf, FIU is a gold play with uranium credits? What's the expect annual output in the mine spec going forward?  It doesn't say in the MD&A.  Can we produce 500K-1M lb of uranium/annum?thanks in advance.

WTF is right. You've invested in a stock and now you're reading the Sedar documents??? Have you checked Sedi too? Have you checked the SA news reports? Have you even spoken to the company? What about GLW and the contracted companies?Check out the FIU presentations for output going forward.

METHINKS that the DD performed by Knowsnothing must be exactly what his handle indicates.Let me get this straight.......Are you saying that you purchased shares in a company and that you did not do even the tinyest bit of research on?  Like at least take the time reading their prospectus?  Knowsnothing my good buddy, have I got a deal for you buddy.  I own this bridge, it's ...more

ok.I did some more DD.  I sold off my position today.  The ROI isn't worth the risk, when there's more solid, undervalued stocks out there (BWR.to).  I'll see you guys @ .45-.50, if it ever gets there.

thanks for this info. I appreciate it. I looked @ the expected NAV@8% for the mine [1] was 586M. fully diluted (if the debentures are converted) ~300M shares *.85= 255M market cap [1] https://www.firsturanium.com/sjfu/action/media/downloadFile?media_fileid=1461 I don't know how to calculate the NAV@8% for the Mine Waste Solution https://www.firsturanium.com/sjfu/action/media ...more

I am a relative newbie...that has done okay but learning everyday is a must to get better results from DD...and I am still gathering info and I see people on the boards giving some great info...there is also a lot of b.s. which is annoying...pumpers I assume...which is leading me to ask you for some info...I think you and leftmike seem to be very knowledgeable...what is off takes? also what ...more

fiu will do well over time . The main problems are behind the company now. When they get the tailings pond and all the gold and uranium mills commissioned and running and production on track you should see a 3.00 stock, could go higher.I believe March 31/11 is the completion date .Gold price are high and if uranium does move into the 80 -100.00 range then FIU will do well.
