Encouraging

This is a nice weekend surprise.
I expect this is a turning point for this investment.
Anglogold's purchase and the fact they have reserved the right of first refusal on the balance plus the Rand notes is an indication that the Franco Nevada test is likely going well. That combined with a pending production update leads me to believe further upside is inevitable within the next month.
The gold price certainly will help the balance sheet.

very encouraging indeed, but dont kid yourselves, Anglogold is buying this stake to take out the entire company, and not as a financial investment. Once the lockout terminates, they will make a buyout offer at 1.00 or slightly higher as the last financing was at 1.00 even. I would guess from 1.05-1.10, for AU shares. Shareholders will approve, so Narm unless you are talking holding Anglogold ...more

This dog that couldn't get  872"??;       just had pups. I will keep these shares  close to my heart. I feel warm and fuzzy that managers got options at fiu  to pull this off but since it was Village did the work im not sure why fiu deserve anything. Just for existing i quess. long on this heinz 57 mutt.

The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday edition that RBC Dominion Securities analyst Leon Esterhuizen has downgraded his target price on First Uranium (40 cents) to 50 cents from $1.20. The Globe's Darcy Keith writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Esterhuizen says First Uranium faces operational and financing uncertainties at its Ezulwini project in South Africa.
