what would you do and why ?

Hello Hmmmm, Colt, Criticalmass and other pros,

looking at the way the things are developing and looking at the impact on the stock price, thought i will pose this question...

under what circumstance  you would consider to buy more ?

under which circumstance you think there is no point and therefore dump ??j

I know there are may parameters and lot of factors to answer the above questions and is a loaded question...

Still , if you have sometime and energy, i really appreciate your thinking....

Regards,

Well if I had the option to buy after the asset sale was voted down I would buy, but the stock will sky rocket up because Waterpan has said that they are readying a bid for 50% of the shares. I think that after the asset sale is voted down the share price will hit 0.20-0.30 within 1 trading day...but I cannot afford to average down on FIU anymore, there really is no point.   I have a feeling ...more

Yes colt451. I would be afraid the stock would go up so fast one would not be able to catch it in time to make a difference. I probably would end up paying the high end. Besides I already averaged down about 6 times and I'm still at a 1.00/share average. If I can get out at .40 -.50 cents a share i'll be blessed.

It looks like  , we ( as a group of shareholders ) are not fully sure if we will be able bring the Vote Down at this point, although that is the right thing to happen but i'm s@#! scared with the way things are taking place... what a mess i have created for myself...

well thats an easy question to answer. if you plan on leaving this earth broke and right away i would buy more shares of FIU. If your in the middle of devorce or planning on getting one then your EX wife would not get much from the settlement. otherwise never buy more FIU

Investorrook , don't blame yourself , you are not gamle like all of us here , WE ARE BEING CHEATED BY DEON and BoD , no way we can win when mgmt SOLD shareholders out . They are not nomal human being but CROOKS with degrees , they abused their position of TRUST. Lef , I wish if North Korean tested nuclear bomb then it should fall right on FIU's headoffice in SA to clean them out.

No one knows what's going to happen. Any investment in FIU at this time is a pure gamble. The only way it can be justified is when the shareholder holds a relatively small number of shares (i.e under 100k) and is prepared to buy at least 100k shares. The net result being a dramatic drop in average share price. The cost could be as low as $5000 for 100k shares and the buyer could see their ...more

Sorry, I should have added a relatively high average price (over a dollar/share) as a condition.
Comment by shiftman on May 23, 2012 10:11am
depends on the company, or the stock. I averaged down on HD in the bad times at 18.00 sold at 51.00 a share a few weeks ago. But home Depot is a far superior company to FIU.  The  company that can't make money, high debt so don't average down take the tax loss. Now at the conclusion of the no vote what will happen if you average down and the stock goes to 1 cent ...more

Shiftman,  you are totally incorrect in your assessment.. "Now at the conclusion of the no vote what will happen if you average down and the stock goes to 1 cent and no company places an offer.  What if the companies decide to buy  decide to buy the assets at a banktrucy auction. then shareholders will get nothing bond holders may get a small return "   Let's just ...more

Even if the company goes to bankruptcy we will be better off as common shareholders. there won't be any so called escrow or 23 mill for completion costs (Bonuses) etc. Even at the current offers there is to much seepage of funds. this does not occurr in bankruptcy !!!!!! I am concidering averageing down one more time before jun.13.2012 but not sure when. This may get to .04 before the 13th. I ...more
