Well done retail investors

Anglo tried to pull a fast one on ordinary FIU investors by taking out the assets of the company for a very low price. The sad thing was that the management & the BOD were party to it & did not defend the interest of other shareholders.

If few large shareholders & other retail shareholders had not organised themselves Anglo & the management would have achieved their objective. I can understand that Anglo trying it best to pay the lowest price for the assets but cannot understand the behaviour of the management & board.

Some the retail investors did the right thing taking the stand & becoming active to protect their interest. GREAT JOB. WELL DONE.  It make me very happy to see that an ordinary retail investors can organize themselves & become active & protect his/her interest.

If you have the time & energy make sure that the management & the board members are black listed in Canada from holding a position on Canadian listed company. If they get some position in the future make sure that the shareholders know about their past history.

Have been monitoring the developments & could not belive how they were throwing the assets away & causing massive losses to Canadian investors. Not too long ago they were hyping the assets & prospects of the company & then all of a sudden they were valuing them  just for a small fraction of that.   They were pushing too much for the ...more

Thanks Pun,  we've actually already started the ball rolling, A formal complaint was made in regards to RBC's  involvement in the process.  A complaint was directed towards Canadian banking authorites in that RBC in late December appraised the value of the corporation at over 700 million which was a little below their apparaisal from the Spring of 2011 shre ...more
