Here's the Info for .33

Indeed it appears as if the prospect of more certain cash, to be dispensed to shareholders following a deal with AngloGold and Gold One, trumped the higher but far riskier alternative from Kumvest. In a two part distribution, First Uranium said June 6 that it would return C
.33 to shareholders for every share they own. If that cash comes through Olma also said it would drop plans for legal action against First Uranium, which stem from its frustration over the asset sale to AngloGold-Gold One.

Thanks Hmmmmmm. It stinks. All I see is Olma stating they will drop legal action as long as the payout is .33 minimum. Feels like an idle threat. I cannot find FIU's commitment to .33 anywhere. Where is the two part distribution the article mentions? And again, how and why can they commit to .33 when they could garantee nothing a few days ago? Thanks for all you have done and all the others ...more

You're looking at the wrong news release . See Stockwatch "First Uranium estimates distribution from Ezulwini sale" 2012-06-06 . https://www.stockwatch.com/News/Item.aspx?bid=Z-C%3aFIU-1967842&symbol=FIU&region=CA significant fact no one seems to have realized is the .22 is guaranteed as part of the sale proceeds but $30 Million will be held in escrow :"The balance of ...more

Thank you Gregarious for the information. Now, everything is rather speculative. Does anyone believe the SP might drop below .22, never mind .20 cents? I don't. Based on what I see, it could close above .26 cents oreven more. Personally, I will most unlikely wait. If I can get .30 cents, I will be happy, as a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush. Good luck.

Agreed. From 23 to 33 is almost 50% gain, which does not happen so often in this market. The beauty is this is where the stock is guarantted to be going. Forget about where it has been. The stock market is all about the future.

Gregarius, thanks for the link. They are playing us like a fiddle. I don't see .33 ever happening as the modus operandi of this company is to lie, cheat and steal.

flyinghorse, you are flyinghigh if you think .33 is guaranteed!

I hate to say this after deals close this thing will be hard pressed to move above.25.    .22 immediately and another .03 for the risk of waiting 6 months to try for the other .11

Comment by flyinghorse on Jun 12, 2012 4:23pm
wow, I guess the word guarantee touched some nerves? Let's see what happens tomorrow. Based on the major shareholders' pledge announced yesterday, the approval is already in the bag. I don't see why No is a feasibly way  going forward. 33 cents is surely an insult to those who bought at north of 50cents or more, but it is better than 0, right? I agree this management is ...more
