Halted

It's halted
Comment by AIGswap on Jun 13, 2012 10:38am
They were about 35 minutes late on this halt...

I know.  I was walking out of there thinking wow I should be buying or telling someone.  It makes you wonder how much more often stuff like that happens, and how often a quick text is made to the right person to take advantage of that.  I personally don't think it was an accident though that the stock was halted at 24c when we opened at 22.5c and were selling off into the close ...more

Any ideas as to when it will resume trading?
Comment by lefmike1 on Jun 13, 2012 10:51am
C_M and others, not sure I woulld be buying,  what guarantee's after the 21 cents that the funds from the escrow fund  11 cents Ithink it was  will actually make it there... 22 or 23 cents is what I think the guaranteed number is.  Even is they claim that 33 cents is possible? Dang I hope they don;t pull another fast one  now that the vote is completed.

Due to the fact that the meeting resumes at 3pm ... Probably tomorrow morning.

At the end of the day, it could be .37.
Comment by gsall on Jun 13, 2012 11:00am
why .37 when they don't even guarantee .33 ??
Comment by orbit_room on Jun 13, 2012 11:06am
I'm just trying to counter lemike's gloomy outlook. Do you really think the BOD wants the lawsuits if they don't pay minimum .33? Anglo and Goldone sure don't want that mess. I think .33 at least is what we'll get.
Comment by gsall on Jun 13, 2012 11:08am
I think the lawsuits where nothing but a bluff. They folded. But I hope I'm wrong.

We'll soon see if the markets agree with lefmike1...

Because there was no spot for questions and they just did the vote tally.  What are you going to question on that.  With the fund flip flop it was clearly in favour.  The question period was to be after the second meeting.  This one just ended and was adjourned to continue the corporation to Ontario where they were to continue. So there was no opportunity. And he didn't ...more

My account of the meeting is accurate.  And no you were not there.  Well we will see where these guys land after to determine one way or another how complicit they are.   And I am not saying it was necessarily malicious incompetence from management.  However, it was incompetence one way or another.  There is just not  enough information to say either way.  ...more
