Special Dividend??

Has there been any mention in NR,s of a special dividend to be paid to Common stock shareholders on December 15 to shareholders of record on November 30th.

Last years was NR was on November 15, 2021;  and amounted to $1.25 per share.

Never saw any NR wrt a Sp.Divi this year. Did I miss it?

Earnings are to be declared on November 1.  It will be announced then if there is one.  You will have to read the press release and maybe read the actual earning report to find it. In good years there is one and in not so good years there is not one.   It is not well reported as it does not count as a part of the registered dividend and its dividend return payout percentage ...more

So you guys are willing to pay $2.56 for a special $.75 dividend?   I just don't understand the modern market.  That doesn't make sense to anyone who can read and has an ounce of common sense.  If you justify it with, it shows that the company is doing well and making money, you are just a sheep buying in with a panic by buying today's price. Actually, the price at the end of the day was $2.95 per share.  Give that man a prize.
