Road

The all season road that will get within 40 kms of NICO opens in August, just over 7 months from now. The rising cobalt prices, the lust for a greener economy, Joe Biden, and add in the 1.1 million proven ounces of gold, the bismuth, sue Dianne deposit, additional exploration news and the overall potential of FT is, yes sir, worth 6 billion and maybe much much more. Hopefully it finally gets the attention it rightfully deserves.

Exactly. If Mr. Goad and the company can`t get the train leaving the station in the coming months, it won`t leave at all. That`s my opinion. There has never been a better time to get this project going, and I wonder if there will be a better time in the future. I`m optimistic, and have faith in that we soon will start getting news releases. But I am not in here for ever if the company fails to ...more

Lotten, I don't think you will be waiting to long to get all or some of what you planned out of this, as Jim pointed out in the past we are a much better company than many in our zone of affairs. We sit with huge price potential from exposure alone,  to be triggered by up comming news on several fronts obviously the biggest and best situation for most of us is a that a deal is made to ...more

This is very true, all good points and if things go well this spring the "Tlicho Hiway" could see a bit sooner opening. A significant concern of mine is what becomes of the Tlicho Kiewitt infrastructure that is in place now to build the new hiway? Will it be demobed or will it be used by FT to punch thru the road to our mine site? It's a significant opportunity and ground breaking ...more

What about the financing of an access road to the mine site? I don`t think FT can do it alone. They need a partner.

There are a number of possibilities on this front....but your right we need a partner, one that goes thru my mind is that kiewit has signed a 30 year deal with the GNWT to build, own and "Maintain" the Tlicho hiway and turn back over to the GNWT in 30 years. The Tlicho have taken a 20 % position in the 400 million dollar deal, its only one possibility of many but think about that ...more

Quick look on Google earth, the only serious obsticle appears to be the Marian River. Looks like a road from the mine to Burke Lake. From 2017 sat picture. I would be willing to drive my new sled to see first hand. I will be purchasing with my FT Profit. Ha Ha.

I agree with you red. There is more than one possibility in the pot here. And it won`t be the lack of money to build the access road that will stop this project. The idea of a cold bear at the fire sounds great, and thank you for appreciate. :-)

A deal has to get done that doesn't see kiewits road building heavy equipment leave this summer without punching the road into NICO. It's in the governments best interest for a whole raft of reasons, it gets 40 kms closer to wekweti, 1 major diamond mine is nearing end of life, ekati is right behind it if diamond prices don't bounce back and no Jay pipe. The NWT needs Fortune to be a ...more
