I sure hope it's good news. Otherwise, Ramsay's trades betray a certain unfamiliarity with Canadian securities law. So far this year, he has (according to the record): bought and sold, respectively, 190500 and 140000 shares on January 11; (mis?)filed the January 11 sale on January 14 as a redemption; bought and sold, respectively, 70000 and 59000 shares on January 20 ...more

Well it does seem odd.....I mean really he and they are / is buying now ( recently) when if he had the spare cash, could have been buying at .06 or less not long ago .....so what has changed that they are prepared to suddenly pay 2x the price they could have, that he and Others on the board including Robin, decided to pick up some extra. we have all seen in other companies when a stock tanks .. ...more

Couple things have happenned. Joe Biden survives his election and becomes President, says oil is out and green is in. Plus cobalt prices continue to trek north almost daily. Chinese relations with NA continue to sour, and the DRC is ongoing mess. Even with the 400 million plus shares out there it defies logic that this stock is .14 today. The value is north of 6 billion, and could be much larger ...more

Maybe some good news on the long term debt being addressed ...
Comment by frontrunner1 on Feb 07, 2021 1:43pm
Answer is easy. Their under writers have said that if you don't get the sp up we can't sell yet another Private Placement and you will run out of money quite soon. So the directors find some pocket change and buy stock when volume is low hoping to keep this gravy train (for them) a float.
Comment by elitespooner on Feb 07, 2021 3:28pm
lol Well thats exploration...whats it going to take to get institutional interest or coverage for this company?
Comment by Goldenpanuco on Feb 08, 2021 1:39am
Goid question ES, what is it going to take for FT to get noticed, to get picked up by institutional investors? IMO it's going to take demand for cobalt plain and simple. These guys have been doing the same thing the last 25 years, they have tried many different things to keep the lights on. When cobalt prices increased in 18 the stock got some notice. The same thing is going to happen this ...more

We need a market cap that isn't as pathetic as it currently stands. We're too small to get a meaningful percentage of ownership for lots of funds or they have restrictions in their mandate that prevent them from buying into companies with caps under X dollars. This is a buyout or bust scenario. No one will partener with current managament because management has nothing to offer. If you ...more

If we are to believe all the hype out there, where is the interest from the Majors ?
Comment by red on Feb 08, 2021 11:21am
FT has 42 plus NDA holders, and could hold the answer to our questions about that
Comment by elitespooner on Feb 08, 2021 11:31am
Red, How long ago was that ??
Comment by elitespooner on Feb 08, 2021 11:45am
or a Better question is any NA interest ? Let me guess, its all private and cannot be disclosed just like our Mine Plan that we paid for, shareholders cannot handle that information. They can be informed of dilution but not privy to make informed investment decisions.
Comment by red on Feb 08, 2021 12:09pm
No guessing required .... its the nature of NDAs , not saying that I dont agree with you but it is what it is for now. The majors you refer to could and likely are be at the table in some way shape or form and part n parcel to my thinking that something has to break out with all that is going on and that has never in our FT life happened before. We have seen a lot over many years but nothing like ...more

elitespooner you can believe or not believe. But why so negative? Let it go if you don't believe.
Comment by elitespooner on Feb 08, 2021 12:19pm
negative, why the assumption ?? I belive in transparency, a companies ability to provide and not a sell out behind non-disclosure, up front and nothing to hide ! If companies are afraid then dont deal with them.
Comment by geolith on Feb 08, 2021 2:39pm
The problem is that NI 43-101 will not allow a company to talk about certain things wthout it being in a prescribed form.  Not a big deal, but if we're talking changes in financial information, then you need a current Feasibility Study to do that.  It's not just dusting off the old one and changing a few numbers, which is what they can do internally.  And it really helps ...more

The resources is known, would you agree ? theres been no drilling since the last feasabiity So with the updated Mine Plan, we are looking at a new feasability, isnt that right ?

Dont F--- with Geo .... you will lose. is also poster who does the homework on these matters and I and others appreciates the comments. let's move on. What's cobalt doing today ? If one has 25 min to watch this is interesting......tougher to start a mine than a car comapany  https://www.cnbc.com/2021/02/06/tesla-founders-martin-eberhard-marc-tarpenning-on-elon-musk.html?

Red, an updated technical report should be released is all Im saying.
Comment by peachbanana on Feb 08, 2021 5:15pm
My suspicion is that there's dissent between board members. It was something "DukeJupiter" said: "Robin could get this stock over a buck ... ut if he wants to do it by mining he needs to pass the baton over to the big boys". It's an unusual remark because, presumably, FT has been trying to find a "big boy" JV partner this whole time. What's weird about ...more

The entire market is going bananas, peachbanana. Small caps, mining, critical metals, EV-related stocks are all doing especially well. But FT kind of limps along.
Comment by red on Feb 08, 2021 7:03pm
True ..... but one small step by FT will be one huge step for us shareholders. I believe our eagle will land on the moon. Crazy but its hard to think otherwise with the pcs fitting together the way that they are. 5 billion $$ plus permitted resource with access and infrastructure ramping up, will not go untapped in these conditions and with the cobalt forecasts we face. At this point typical ...more

Hahahaha that was awesome.  I'd venture out a guess that it's not but what do I know. the big thing for me is that Goad is in his last legs for work anyways- how much longer do you really think he will be working... my guess is that he gets the partners and willfully retires. Again...what do I know. Lol
