Hello and good morning FT Longs: Thanks for sharing spooner - appreciated.  We all know of course that cobalt-free and solid state batteries, hydorgen technology will be coming.  that being said, the need for cobalt will likely be around for the next 100 years for all the other battery techs where it makes sense to use - phones, airplane engines, etc. Not worried about statements like ...more

This is so true....many of us including me lol, have been so caught up in the ev corner that while we know there will be all kinds of batteries in EVs ...and that is the immediate demand but they are not the only use of cobalt and there is literally hundreds of other uses that will put and add to the pressure on cobalt.....as Simone says ....it's about electrification. in our case if it's ...more

Well I guess if it's all over but the crying then selling your shares now makes the best sense, eh Spooner? No point in panicking about more battery tech. competition because cobalt will still be king! Yellowknifer

Stop with the FUD and BS: Hydrogen? There isn't a decent infrastructure existing! Takes immense capital and buildout! Forget it until at least 2026. A lot of energy losses (aka IT COSTS MORE!!) The only benefit? You need way less raw material. But you would need to tripple your (GREEN) electricity production (nuclear or solar/wind)  to produce it. If not: you use natural gas. Who'll ...more

Speaking of BS Hydrogen; The Japanese government is banking on hydrogen vehicles to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. It has set an ambitious target of having 200,000 FCVs on the road by 2025, compared to about 3,600 in 2019, along with 320 hydrogen filling stations under its third Strategic Roadmap for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells. The Toyota Mirai is powered by what’s called a fuel-cell electric ...more

ES .... just out of curiosity earlier as in same day, your bullish on cobalt .... is there any particular reason as to why ? Surely you must be able to find some good cobalt news out there? I mean really I find it tough to buy an ice cream cone only to then look at reasons why I don't like it but still eat it.
Comment by red on Apr 09, 2021 5:43pm
Lol .... I guess I answered that myself... you said your taking profits .... that's like licking the cone .... sorry my mistake-take care

Ohhh, so it's you that trades 500 shares around noon hour every day ?  I was wondering who was wasting their time on stuff like that. That seems like more of a petitespooner thing than an elitespooner thing. All in my humble opinion though ... Good luck to all long term shareholders!

Given that great volume over the last month or so I think we should prepare that a number of game players will come out of the woodwork in anticipation of news. Depending on that news it may shake our new foundation. End game remains the same this resource will not stay in the ground, in the big picture cobalt will continue and increase in demand, geopolitics around cobalt will get worse and will ...more

Hello and good morning FT Longs: We should probably brace ourselves for news of the Private Placement type as well.  With only $1 miilion bucks in cash reserves at the end of 2020, we have to be close to a point where we need an injection of equity. I keep thinking about all of the Directors topping up on their shares and remain optimistic that news of a different type is coming down the ...more

Stay focused on the big picture .... we are know where near over, FFS its elementary, growth of battery production let alone other uses will be required in nothing short of an exponential manner...from cobalt news....  "Put simply: cobalt stabilizes the cathode component of lithium-ion batteries, helping to ensure they do not catch fire. This is not something that battery ...more
