First time poster ....

Hi folks,

I've been lurking here for a few years.  I've been investing for 40 years.  My strategy is to only invests in GRAND SLAM HOME RUN opportunities ... and completely ignore the remainder.  When all the costs are counted, a 100% return is not worth the grief and effort.  I zero in on a sector and then attempt to become a near-expert in that sector.

Generally, I figure out a golden opportunity very early in the game.  For example, when Wheaton Precious Metals was created and became the very first silver streaming company, I called and asked to talk to the investor rep.  LOL, I was the FIRST retail caller and they did not even know who the investor rep was going to be!  I have similar stories for my other picks.

Presently I am only invested in 3 sectors:  4 silver stocks, 3 uranium stocks and 3 cobalt stocks.  In my view, only these 3 sectors presently offer the GREATEST fundamantals and the LOWEST risk ...  in today's ultra-dangerous investment world made much more difficult by government interventions.

I have studied investing for two hours per day, 7 days a week for 30+ years.  I've attended numerous resource conferences and read all fo the books.  So why am I here?

Simply stated, the Cobalt sector and Fortune Mineral in particular are one of the 10 stocks that I hold that promise the highest reward with the lowest risk.  Of course, I could be wrong.  So how do I play that?  Once I zero in on an idea and do ALL the reseach, I take perhaps a 50% low-cost position.  Then, once a comapany begins to prove itself, the risk falls and I increase my position .... which gives me the best of both worlds.

I almost never invest in a "new idea".  BUT financial history teaches us that there are occasional exceptions to every rule.  I'm 100% convinced that battery revolution is unstoppable and a complete game changer in the world of transportation.  IMO, the transition from horse and buggy to auto will again be repeated with petrol to battery.  And the single best way to capitalize on this is to find and buy the best Cobalt plays.  IMO, Fortune Minerals is one of them.  (I won't mention my other cobalt related choices.)

So there it is and why I am here.  I do read every post and appreciate what everyone has said.  Why?  Because once I zero in on an idea or compnay, I then spend a great deal of time looking for what might be wrong with my conclusions.

Welcome, and good luck.  while I love new blood to the board, I do miss my old pal Jim.  in FT related news... our sp may go down before it goes up. The technicals in the market are poor at the moment. But that will eventually change as ft has a number of upcoming catalysts. Just my opinion.  I agree with RED... everyone should do their own dd and follow other cobalt ...more
