A Possible Nico Marriage?

Sibanye wants to tap green metals boom as gold deals lack value:

Sibanye Stillwater Ltd.'s dealmaking boss said the precious metal miner's immediate priority is to expand in battery metals rather than gold.

Some of the biggest mining companies are expanding into or eying commodities tied to the green revolution, such as metals used in electric-vehicle batteries.

Already this year, Johannesburg-based Sibanye struck deals to buy a nickel hydrometallurgical processing facility in France and acquire a stake in the owner of a lithium project in Finland.

That marked Sibanye's first foray into battery metals as Chief Executive Officer Neal Froneman looks to grow and diversify the company. The CEO has already transformed Sibanye from a gold miner focused on South Africa to a giant in platinum-group metals by expanding at home and in the United States.

"At the moment it's very difficult to find value in the gold sector," he said on an investor call today. "I don't see the gold price doubling or tripling, but I see battery metals doing that in the not too distant future." ...

I would be happy if Robin was speaking to his shareholders and telling them that he had reached a deal with said companies.   Yellowknifer

Won't argue that point YKer ... those funds from that PP run short quickly and I figure was a heck of a gamble as it is.  we have once again near exhausted possibilities and have resorted to CC discussions lol  update needs to be provided.

They will probably sell more shares if money is low. Would be beneficial for higher share price. I'm not too concerned about the cash situation. FCC got the money for a refinery from bmo (I'm getting old so my memory might not be accurate) in exchange for shares. I posted this earlier if anyone wants to look it up, or go to the FCC News in Stackhouse. I suspect FT will option to have ...more

Would love to hear that from Robin ....Nico has a disposi that cannot stay in the ground in these and coming times ....would be nice to hear political points on BM development in Canada from our candidates....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there 40 companies talking to FT? That news has been out there for awhile. There should be more companies than that by now. They all have nondisclosure agreements. Do you want Robin to jump in bed with the first one that shows interest? You wait for the frenzy to heat up in Critical Minerals. Then get the best deal or deals for all of us. News of a ...more
