Lassonde Curve

With a bit of imagination and abstract view ....it's not hard to see the whole FT story on the curve of the lassonde chart in the last corporate presentation....we are at the cusp of the variable of "institutional and strategic investment"  but also where the greatest potential exists for us as very long shareholders.

if the chart holds true (and is where, as longs, our anticipation is also highest) , given all that is going on around us, especially in Canada and NA, the glove looks to fit.

Some great points Red. Here's an interesting commentary on the curve - considering all the FT facts and what has been discussed, leaving stage 3 can only be imminent. https://kuchling.com/the-lassonde-curve-a-wild-ride/

Yes Very Interesting I think fair to say of those that have problems at stage 3  - Ft has one of the two problems  pretty well in control as in the case of mine permits and we believe processing plant permits look to be a formatilty if you listen to Sonia Savage of ministry of mines in Alberta  - if those are the two bigest issues  our chances of advancing up that curve , i ...more

A dated but sage interview quote from Robin back in 2016 - obviously stated a bit early back then but fully aligned with the Lassonde Curve and hopefully more timely and relevant in 2022. Dr. Allen Alper: I totally agree with that assessment. I think it is now an opportunity for investors. It looks like banks and venture capitalists and institutions are ready to help with projects that need ...more

Interesting....unfortunately we have flatlined at the base of the Lassonde curve since about that time but also significant changes have since occured on the forecasted demand of supply of cobalt, gold, infrastructure and with regard to our plan of operations with an edmonton site, waste disposal program etc and all tallied up for nothing other than betterment of the overall project as it readies ...more

All in my humble opinion: Before worrying about the sunshine and lollipops stuff like the Lassonde curve, what is the solution proposed for August 12th ? (12.6 million debt due ?)  Is this not the same group that foreclosed on the silver mine ?  Does history repeat itself ?  If so, does the 1.5 Million loan secured with the mining leases foreclose and get Nico ?  If so, does ...more

The debt holders (aka Lascaux Capital) blew their brains out on the Virginius-Revenue silver mine. Over 50 million counting their additional spending after 2015. They might actually be more incompetent than Fortune management if they had that much money and actually thought they were looking at a silver mine rather than a 140 yr old hole in the wall. Since Monkey pox has been deemed racist there ...more

Great post! And interesting reminder of where FT was at one time ( as much as $6 plus) with nowhere near the market "macro" that we see today and in front of us today. That alone is enough to keep me and obviously others, hanging around!  The small amount of debits with the 5 billion asset we have would seem surmountable lol. keeping in mind with our advanced stage and again that ...more

Sir Farty, Are you related to the Boston Bomber. I can't remember who won the tooting contest, but I remember how. Ha ha. I hear your concerns. Why they wait until the last minute to announce financing is nerve wracking. However we are in much better shape with Nico than the silver mine given the need for battery minerals. Good luck longs.

Do you really think they would wait to announce the deal? If there was a deal it would be announced. Up to this point there is no deal. Hopefully I'm proven wrong.

All in my humble opinion: @Tuckerthefox I have no relation nor affiliation with anything wicked / evil. As for my fluffs off the cuff, they are just thought provoking brain farts any shareholder, particularly long term shareholders should be thinking about.  Personally, I have a lot of questions, and virtually nil for answers which seems par for the course with this speculative investment ...more

Agreed.  This is in the hands of the investment banker.   They need to do their job.   You can be sure nothing of substance will leak out until a deal is done or their is no deal.    Still hanging in.    Jim
