They spent more time and resources applying and trying to cease trade with OSC than it would take for annual filings.

remember - Fortune Minerals' board of directors and its management are working expeditiously to meet its continuous disclosure obligations in relation to the annual filings as soon as possible.

MCTO are not rare and are usually short term incoveniences for management and directors.  IIROC's halt would normally not happen in a routine MCTO request.  Perhaps it is something else, unrelated to the finacials.

what are you thinking ?

A pending deal would likely have had a halt initiated by the company, so the question is, what would cause IIROC to halt trading?  I don't know. The company requested a MCTO, so I doubt it is for that reason or ny such filing issue. Perhaps there is a number of items, the totality might make IIROC to think halting trading is in the best interests of the shareholders and the exchange.

You should concentrate on cease trading because of the financials period! Dreaming about what if it something else is not very helpful to the mind! Just following what really is happening to this company is mind numbing enough!

This is True... but with this Co., you have to Dream. The shareholder cannot handle the truth in regards to who the 45 are and you cannot handle the truth in regard to the "meaningful" discussion taking place with a miner.... My guess who some of the NDAs are as follows : Home Hardware, Cabin Radio, Co-Op ...

Well, the Co-op could probably scrap together $1,000 from my 'membership' shares left unclaimed! In any case, it is what it is and there is nothing - absolutely nothing, shareholders can do at the present moment.  Hmmm, or at any other moment in time that I can recall. Staying long, cause there is really no place to go. Yellowknifer

It is in the news release. FT requested a MCTO but IIROC denied it because they requested with less than 2 weeks to deadline. IIROC had to impose a failure to file CTO because of the 2 week rule. Don't get me wrong. This is a monster red flag and the future looks bleak for FT but I don't think they are quite dead yet. I am not that far underwater and I am looking to exit this IF it starts ...more

I agree with you, some peers that Ive listened too are contuining to say that this is too small for the amount of capital.

As a pure cobalt play it may be the case but as a whole Nico is so much more. What we produce in Cobalt is enough to satisfy some and put canada on the CM map in short order and with other metals is still attractive let alone the 2 billion in precious metal gold .... then add the still somewhat elusive and yet to reveal its self is our CM bismuth ....largest in the world Deposit. GM, While having the refinery may optimise costs, Option 4 is a little too big. Musk himself noted, “As a startup, a car company, it is far more difficult to be successful than if you're an established, entrenched brand.” In general, he said that it is “incredibly difficult” to survive as a car company. How many times have the Autos been bought out/supported by CDN taxpayers? Now throw in a ...more
