Do Car Companies Know Where Their CM's Come From?

Four weeks now since filing delay announced - longer than approximately three weeks - managing expectations and status reporting has room for improvement, but considering what's all likely on the plate and the good chance of a positive outcome, I'll extend some benefit of the doubt. While we wait, here's an interesting article on the benefits of sourcing critical minerals from IRA appropriate sources.

... A sweeter carrot this time around may incentivize industry to finally undertake—and reliably certify—a shift to new sources of critical minerals. If not, qualification for the EV tax credit could be sullied by uncertainty and even suspicion.

Canada knows where all its current CMs are ...who is near term ready and who is not. Seemingly it's understood and generally accepted the demand that is coming. Here we sit wondering if FT fits the program. as the macro builds and for years, we wondered how Nico fits the program better said we wondered how it could not given its advanced stage, yet he we sit in what looks like a ridiculous ...more
