Congo cobalt

Am finding it hard to believe with all the human rights issues not to mention the political volatility that our Canadian Gov or the USA gov, let alone a customer with concern for reputation would invest  in something or products, in Canada with DRC supplied cobalt .... very risky ?

is this you ?? If the federal government were to admit genocide against Indigenous Peoples is ongoing, it would open the doors to international prosecution since Canada is part of the 1948 UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

What you fail to realize is that this government hates all people except the very wealthy and is practicing genocide against all Canadians. The homelessness, drug addiction and the violent crime is a direct result of their policies. I don't expect anything better from the next government.

I can't believe the supitly of our governments to allow this to happen? I thought it was about made in North America with products from North America! Just unreal! You mean my tax dollars are supporting a company that buys from a terrible country that has very little effective laws to protect child labor! please don't say " only if they can prove it is not make with child labour" ...more

... thats nothing. The Federal Government has brought back enterment camps. Except not towards the Japanese but to Chinese investors, theyve segmented Capital markets. Pretty soon they'll sanction China Town in Van...

They ( someone) are taking a big risk .... especially on the end product marketing ...I doubt Honda wants to get involved in that  marketing quagmire possibility ....years ago it was reported that Glencore was to supply them 5000 tons of DRC cobalt ore for processing, not sure what happened to that deal but was about the same time they got 10 million of Canadian tax dollars. desperate ...more
