Rio Tinto progresses the development of a gallium extraction

Rio Tinto is venturing deeper into Canadian critical minerals. Too bad their news release today only implicitly mentions work being done with Fortune Minerals - we'll have to wait for another day's news release.

"In addition to aluminium, copper, iron ore and titanium dioxide, Rio Tinto already produces a wide range of critical minerals in its North American facilities, including scandium used in aluminium alloys, tellurium for solar panels and molybdenum for steel alloys. Other research and development initiatives are ongoing to evaluate the possibility of extracting new materials from the company’s existing operations."

I guess as soon as we confirm ( which seems to be dragging on ) and they confirm and agree with our testing, they can decide if they want to release legitimate news.  no doubt that we won't be able to release news unless they approve it and may also require various other gov funders also approve.
