What is the significance, if any, of FURY being on the NYSE?

Was Auryn on the NYSE before the spinout? 

Also, as a partial sidenote, does anyone have any insight as to why most Canadian juniors will only trade on an OTC exchange on the U.S. side and not on a major U.S. exchange?

Lucky 7's, As an analogy, basically, the NYSE is to the OTC (pink sheets), what Toronto is to The Vancouver exchange. NYSE & TOR are considered much more respectable I guess might be the word. In the U.S. some full service brokerage firms will not allow a client to purchase many foreign stocks whose symbol ends in F (pink or gray sheet stocks). MaterialsMan, I understand all of what you just outlined. I guess the jist of my question is - given the NYSE's stricter listing requirements than pink sheet excahnges and it's lack of willingness to cater to speculative foreign penny stocks, then how did FURY manage to get on it in the first place? They are a non-producing junior explorer penny stock, even in CAD terms. I could ...more

777, You bring up a good point. Not only how they got on to the big board, but how they remain on it. I believe that, on both the NASDAQ and the NYSE, if a stock falls below $1.00 per share for a certain period of time, it is supposed to be delisted. Some companies do reverse splits to avoid that from happening. FURY's time limit has got to be just about up. Maybe we can look forward to owning ...more
