This sounds like very good news although I have a few questions:    How many locations will this very offered in? “very large number of locations” Who does Protractor sell it’s software to? from the website it looks like they sell to the actual dealers,do they sell to there customers as well? What were Protractors sales for 2011?   Anyone familar with Protractor?

They got what it takes. Good strategic move for Futura. Tens of thousands of auto service retail locations in the US. (October 25, 2011 news release) More high frequency retailers in this mix. Excellent. Protractor Corporate Information Peter Steele Peter Steele has managed auto repair shops at the franchise head office level, and teaches business management and marketing. Protractor may gain by expanding its own client base from the thousands they have now. They are in the partnership to make money also. The auto service universe has tens of thousands of locations, according to Futura's Oct 25th 2011 news release. And that's what a good partnership is all about. A win-win scenario for both.
