Level 2

Did the market book change during the halt?

It was 2.7 million shares at 1 cent yesterday. Now 1.26 million.

I think a bit more offered at 1.5 cents.

The other price levels appear unchanged.

More sellers at 1/2 cent now. Nothing significant however.     V:FUT Market Book By Price 08:49:35   Bid Ask Orders Size Price   Price Size Orders     0.005 1,165,500 3     0.01 1,262,200 12    ...more

Looking deeper at the market book. No large sellers, except the new 805,000 share offer at 1/2 cent.     0.005 200,000 V 9 10-16 10:15         160,000 V 33 10-17 07:30         805,500 V 2 10-17 08 ...more

That 805,000 sell order at 1/2 cent vanished. No use placing sell orders if the news isn't out. Let the company show what it intends to do and the direction they want to go. If management halted trading, then it's important news.     V:FUT Market Book By Price 10:34:21   Bid Ask Orders Size Price    ...more

Well let's see what the halt could be about:   1. CCAA proceedings 2. Roll up and subsequent dilution 3. Downgrade to NEX or CNQ 4. Buyout or other positive corporate transaction (very unlikely)   None of this stuff is good news for current shareholders except point 4 but that's maybe a 5% chance of happening. If point 2 is the issue, then that's bad news for current ...more

Looks like it was option #1https://tmx.quotemedia.com/article.php?newsid=55092511&qm_symbol=FUT Good luck folks, my apologies. I'm glad I never actually bought in but this looks like toast, officially. I've have a sting earlier this year in SBS...the best you can do is just go on and try to trade/invest your way out of it like I have.
