Still don't understand it

Here is Airmiles website.

Freight services B2B, just like Futura with P &B Transport.

Two car dealers/service are featured. Others also have signed up with Air Miles.

These are probably successful for Air Miles. Then why not for Futura? Must be in the marketing/support services where something is lacking.

That part of the business IS successful for Futura. Look at the gross margins. 40-50% most quarters. That's pretty good. The issue, is and always has been their G&A. The politically correct statement would be that they didn't reach high enough scale fast enough to achieve profitability to offset that G&A. Becoming  a resller is a step down from their early ambitions with Futura Rewards. They had the grand idea back in 2006, but was proven unworkable as the years progressed. At least can say they tried, but it was not to be. The first co-founder, Byron Holland,  left in Dec 2007.   It was said he was instrumental in building the Futura Rewards program. But by ...more
