Aeroplan

I see that on Aeroplan's website there are listed some of Futura's sign-ons. Active Green and Ross, Integra, OK Tire and Meineke. Sad to see alll the hard work and millions spent by Futura going to Aeroplan. Web-based reporting initiative with Aeroplan was a good thing. Other initiatives could still  have been done, but time may have run out. It already seems like a distance memory.

Out of the 4 US airlines Aeroplan has US Airways which might merge with American Airlines (American Airlines and US Airways merger could be announced as soon as January). Also has United. Now all they need is Delta.

Then somehow work with them to get their loyalty programs inter-connected and get Futura somehow involved in the action for smaller merchants in the US.

Dreams which may never materialize. All of the above is an assumption Aeroplan may continue with Futura after CCAA. But first, Futura has to pay Aeroplan and also come up with a better business plan and a leaner company.
