I'm still waiting for those gut feel block trades. But maybe the two block trades in December were the signal?However, I will settle for any trade at this late stage.

the blocks were probably related to some kind of tax loss................

Same broker on both sides. Somebody wanted to keep the shares in the family. Maybe for profit.

Because there were no bids, a shareholder couldn't sell on the open market to realize a loss for tax purpose.   Two options then:   1. Can use Section 50(1) if ITA to claim a full loss, if think CCAA process was the end of Futura. A short explanation to th tax people would suffice. ie: Money owing by Futura is far greater than their assets). If Futura ...more
