Lonely road of faith

There are so many of you who took that lonely road of faith towards your dreams. It's unfortunate it had to end this way with Futura.

 

The A/D indicator did not confirm the OBV, indicating a weakness back in May 2011. But it was very close and could have been easily missed. It wasn't an "in your face" sell signal, but more of a subtle warning to be alert. Tough to interpret correctly if only took a cursory glance at the indicators.

Baywall don't tell me you bought and held FUT because of some technical indicator from two years ago? It's one thing to buy in on a technical indicator and just get unlucky, say the company announces bankruptcy overnight. But with FUT is was a slow bleed and signs were there to sell and have a wait and see approach with their weak revenue growth, strange accounting of the processing ...more

Pretty well summed it up RE38. Blind faith in a stock system which still had to have things worked on. Maybe the idea that the system was good because of past successes. Not selling because of losses never crossed my mind. Belief in chart analysis was the over riding reason of what had the appearance of being married to the stock.   Yes, I saw the mess building on the financial ...more
