Bullfrog District - Augusta & Anglo
A couple months back the Corvus Gold CEO, Jeff Pontius, commented on the Augusta/Barrick deal: “Certainly with Augusta Capital’s horsepower behind them.. those guys, in my opinion, they are the real deal. THEY HAVE A VISION OF THE DISTRICT.” Keep in mind he was AngloGold's x-North American Exploration Manager. One key thing he also mentioned in past was whoever builds their mine first usually consolidates the district. Imo BFGC will be first. District map & recent Corvus interview on the tweet:

Corvus' whole team is made up of high ranking xAngloGold guys. Not many people paying attention to the east side of Beatty where Anglo/Coeur/Corvus have discovered ~10 million oz’s. Nearly all over the last 2 yrs. It’s directly related to BFGC & adjacent Corvus lands to north which is all part of a very large gold system. Beling has said the same Precambrian metasediments outcrop on BFG claims and Coeur/Corvus. They share the same detachment fault as well. Corvus has been providing progress updates on their Lynda Strip & motherlode adjacent to Coeur’s C-Horst discovery & Anglo’s big discovery. Coeur’s main global exploration focus is this area as well now. These guys are now able to recognize more easily & find new wide zones 100m @ 2-3g/t (chimneys) in the district. 10 Million oz & 12 rigs turning between the 3 players on the east side. The west side over the next 2 years should be very interesting. Warke had 18 rigs going at Arizona mining before being taken out. He doesnt seem to work on anything small. Corvus mentioned a month ago or so that they were in talks with BFGC to drill the border & has already hinted on the option to spin off the east side motherload/Lynda Strip project for the producers in that area which would be Mill operated. For their North Bullfrog West district (BFGC's north neighbour) it’s a heap leach operation which is likely the same as BFGC. We’re in the land of superpits imo & Warke is no stranger to them. High probability BFGC existing pits are going to get expanded significantly (3g/t historical cut off at depth in the U/G mine), maybe some pits connect to each other, they'll be drilling deep & there’s possibility of a brand new discovery like Silicon/C-Horst (Each are said to host over 3m oz each). I wouldn’t expect the Augusta team to do much marketing, promos etc. I don’t think that is their thing. Consolidation is coming in this area. This is a mini Carlin 2.0 imo except none of the historical “not working together” Newmont & Barrick mentality. Real synergies & large cost savings in operations planned from the start at exploration/development phase here. Not a maybe it is a Tier 1 district. It’s for sure. Corvus CEO calls this a 500k oz/yr district. I think he is being conservative tbh. BFGC still 0 drill results.
