TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Waterton Global Resource Management, Inc., (“Waterton Global”) in response to numerous media inquiries, announces that it was the successful bidder for the Hollister gold mine and the Esmeralda Mill in Nevada.
The assets were purchased through a court-supervised auction of assets formerly controlled and operated by certain subsidiaries of Great Basin Gold Limited. The finalization of the purchase of these assets remains subject to customary closing conditions.
Waterton Global is pleased with the outcome of the auction which, subject to completion, will add an additional high-quality gold mining project to its portfolio of North American operations. The transaction is expected to close on May 17, 2013; until that time Waterton Global will not be able to comment further.
