To sell or not to sell...

Personally, I think a lot of folks are drowning in a cup of water, but that's my opinion. I understand and share the frustration and let Shawn and JJ hear about it...frequently and loudly. I have a pile of shares (1%) and haven't sold any yet. I also loaded up a bunch more when it dipped last year. I know several other s/h who hold >1M shares. They're also holding strong.

Some traders like to trade...not my style. I don't think there has been a better time to own this co. I have done extensive DD on Excelsior. I believe they are on the cusp of success and I think the news flow over the next 3-12 months will bear that out. But, as always do your own DD.

Photo I love your patience and I truly hope it all works out for you  I certainly believe it could and over the years I loved your posts  Do you have any idea who the author is of that Crux article ?
Comment by PhotonicsGuy on Jan 31, 2021 10:48am
CopperGirl - No, I have no idea. I suspect it originates with the founders of Crux, who have their own Investing arm. I've heard via the rumor mill they are actively involved in raising $$$ for Taseko and their Florence project. However, I've seen nothing to substantiate that rumor. But it makes sense that - if it is true - they would like to cast shade on the competing ISR project at ...more

FWIW, here's an email I sent to another Crux author who had published an article favorable to Excelsior last year. The text was the rebuttal I posted a few days ago. "I posted the following note to the message boards in response to the Crux article. IMO, the article was a piece of unmitigated trash. I would be embarrassed to be associated with an organization that published this ...more

Hi Photonics, do you have a link to the positive article?

Here's a link to earlier 'positive' article Crux published about Excelsior. By Mikko Leivo - October 17 2019 The Next New Copper Producer in the United States

Just shows that that the cons at Crux are manipulating this.

I find it very funny that Crux changed its tone from 2019 (promoting the stock) to 2021 (bashing the stock when short interest increased), as if the geological characteristics changed. The mine is exactly the same from 2019 to 2021 as it was on hiatus most of 2020 due to covid. Seems they just pump and bash whenever it suits them.

Seems that Crux isn't even a group of independent analysts/writers. It's simply a channel for randoms to post whatever, no different that stockhouse as per the disclaimer below: "Any advice contained in this website is general advice only and has been prepared without considering your objectives, financial situations or needs. The site's content is completely from random contributors, so it most likely is a nobody as they didn't state the author or their ownership. This alone assures me to hold my long position. I can see why management didn't bother responding to such garbage.

I had a bit of exchang with Matt from Crux on Twitter regarding this. My feeling and take from his immediate defensive position was that the piece is probably targeted. Most probably not shorting or anything of that sort, but rivalry between the funding partners maybe? (Greenstone vs his firm, both in UK) Have you ever noticed he has not interviewed Excelsior Mining managemnt even once? That' ...more

You'll love this...the PoS article about Excelsior has been pulled from CruxInvestor's website.  I guess the heat got a little too hot in the kitchen!  ;) PG

Never heard that expression before .. well I remember Arizona Mining dipped to a dollar when somebody bashed it in an article saying basically that it was a hoax .. that the magnesium content was prohiibitive and they were liars. Later  bought out  at over $6 .. how many bailled because of that article? Of course one shouldn't be blind to anything negative ... one should simply ...more
