Civilized Update

I was a long time holder of MIN and invested a few dollars and a hell of a lot of patience into the story. After the private placement at $1.10 went meaningfully under water I finally lost patience and sold my position. Obviously copper has gone through the roof but MIN has not shown that they can consistently produce copper. I am hoping one of the informed members of the board (Arizona Billy or Photonics or others) can provide a concise update as to what the production problems are and best guess as to whether money/time/technology can solve them. I have seem Metalhead's 98 posts per day but obviously cannot rely on his perspective.

Can anyone provide an intelligent, civilized view as to where the company legitimately stands?

Thanks

LOL! In other words you want to hear what you want to hear!  I told you this would happen and why but nooooo!  You don't want to hear the truth only what makes you feel better.  So yeah, go ask the other posters who stubbornly clung to their losing positons who knew nothing and now know less.  unreal

If you read my post, I said that I do not have any position in MIN. So it is not a question of what I want to hear, it is a matter of wanting to hear information from a credible source. And maybe your information is in fact correct. But clearly you are either a paid basher or materially short on the stock. So obviously I can't take anything that you say too seriously. I can read your posts for ...more

Also looking around here, what are some pros and cons as with copper rising this is one of the few stocks left that hasn't taken off yet.

PROS....0 CONS...."various"  lol

Seems there must be some issues as it's not going anywhere but question is if is there value here at these prices
Comment by metalhead666 on May 12, 2021 12:04pm
If they can't profitably extract copper it has NO value.  The problem is that there is NO way to know if their "issues" can ever be resolved....I think they won't be....so you are just rolling the dice buying at any price.

Why do you claim that you have "decades of investing experience", and that you're here to "help" when you talk like a retarded 16 year old? All of my resource investments have gone through the roof these last few weeks, and just to spite you, I'm gonna buy more Excelsior.

Atta boy!  Spite and hope are great reasons to invest!  GL!
Comment by Lifexprt on May 12, 2021 12:48pm
Oh well, worth a gamble with rising copper. In for 50k shares.
Comment by hereshoping on May 12, 2021 1:19pm
It seems to me that at this point I only need the answer to one question....At what price of copper is the project economically viable with the water flushing solution to the CO2 problem?
Comment by metalhead666 on May 12, 2021 1:34pm
You do not "know" that the "water flushing" is a solution at all nor do you know what the other "issues" are. So the price of copper could be $100 per lb and it wouldn't matter.

Too bad. Had you listened to me your accounts would be like mine at all time highs.  There's no such thing as a "paid basher"...only infantile newbies even think such a thing exists. I'm not short either.  It's possible that I have an interest in this unfolding disaster...like watching a train wreck.  It's also possible that I know what I'm talking ...more

If you are not short the stock (as you say) and you are not paid by someone who is short (as you say), why on earth do you care so much that the stock goes down? You seem to spend every waking moment bashing a stock on a chat board when you claim to have zero financial interest in the story either way. Forgive me for being skeptical.  And yes, if I only I could tirn back the hands of time ...more

Oh, I guess it's just not possible to be interested in something eh?  At one time I embraced this project. I wanted it to succeed and owned shares. Things changed and I bolted. I have a geology background so it interested me. I have a mining investment background so it interested me.  Too hard to fathom?   No one pays anyone anything to post on stupid meaningless chat ...more

Stop bullshitting. Geology background my a**, I doubt you even have a community college degree. The fact that you derive fun from this only shows how miserable your life must be.

Analyzing things and getting them right is very rewarding.  I went to two universites for geology and wildlife biology if you must know. I was a stock broker for the 4th largest firm in America at the time....You strike me as a naive' newbie who thinks he's entitled to automatically make money by throwing it at things that sound good...I know better from 40 years of doing this.  ...more

Are this much of an a$$hole in real life too? Is that why you have nothing better to do than come here? The fact that you spend all day spamming a stock message board about a stock you have no investment in says more about your life than anything else.

Thank you Dr. Swon!

Meathead: In addition to your unmatched investment skills, you are also a world class profiler. You so accurately sized me up as a naive newbie. I could not have conjured up a more appropriate description myself.  While neither I nor anyone else on the planet has your gift of insight, I have somehow managed to do reasonably well in the many years I have had on earth before being blessed ...more

It's Mr. Metalhead to you sir.  There are no intelligent comments here besides mine.
Comment by Centerice9 on May 12, 2021 12:13pm
Your response is non-responsive. You sit on this board night and day pleading for the stock to go down. But yet you have endless knowldge, endless experience, endless wisdom and endless money. So, again, with no long or short position, why does this company consume 98% of your thoughts and energy?  Getting back to my original point, I would love to hear the views of some informed people on ...more

1. I am THE most informed person on the board 2. It only consumes 96.53% of my time.....lol...what stupid exagerations on your part. No wonder you're getting crushed

This was a post elsewhere today by LCP. Long chat with the CEO today. My takeaway is this: I believe they have in their pocket a path to effective production: The flushing water or raffinate/acid cycles as it has shown to be effective and finite. However, multiple other methods that are used and proven (in the O and G industry and others) to deal with CO2 issues are being tested to find a more ...more

Oil and gas drilling/production doesn't inject acid into limestone. Whatever nusance CO2 issues an oil well may have is not even close to the issues this project has and will continue to have.  The copper is encrusted on carbonate rock...you cannot disolve all the rock.  The CEO comments are exactly what you would expect him to say. Once you flush out an area and then re-introduce ...more
