What happened to that leach pad reply .. I logged in to answer and it disappeared .. guess you got me blocked,  or I got you blocked, but I thought I had nobody blocked. Anyway this is what I am talking about (and its my fault for not making it clear):

"The full capital cost for restarting the JCM heap leaching operation between mining pre-production, first fills/Owners costs, leach pad construction and haul road construction is approximately $26.5 million. Staffing for the JCM project is mostly in place and few hires will be needed to augment the existing staff."

Before Excelsior can consider raising money, we need to see a copper resource, met testing and some pit shells to know there is a profitable mine at sensible copper prices. You are correct funding is important but I think Excelsior are not at first base yet with a mine plan around the Johnson Camp. I am not sure the PEA has much value without a mine plan. I am sure in the background engineering ...more

That's true, but if they get an opportunity to raise money even at this stage, maybe they should take it. If they sit on their hands the market could take a turn for the worse, and they'd be finding themselves seeking a financing at 10 cents
