Leaching Pad

Any idea when leaching pad will be completed?
If the leaching technology proves a success will Gunnison Copper also use the technology and become a open pit mine?

The key date is when will first ore be loaded on the leach pad and leaching start.  My best guess is leaching  will start late 2024.  Hopefully there should be an announcement about start of mining and crushing in September/October.  I don't know for sure, but there is likely to be remnant oxide ore that can start producing PLS relatively quickly.  As the SX-EW is ...more

JCM is progressing well and with hopefully first half 25 production its very encouraging. Gunnison ..not so good.  I thought they might be making some progress but it seems not to be. Too bad  as I was quite excited about the in situ possibilities...but it seems like they are backtracking a bit with talk of possible open pit.
