Florence Copper
Taseko has released a very useful update on progress on Florence Copper. Essentially this time next year Florence should either be producing or close to producing copper.
As far as I understand, Rio via Nuton are funding Excelsior to commerical production from Johnson Camp next year. Excelsior has the permits in place to trial well stimulation which with time should address the calcite CO2 temporarily restricting wellfield flow. The funding ask is modest to complete this trial.
I appreciate there has been disappointment but prima facie Excelsior offers a decent back stop with substantial value uplift if Gunnison well stimulation trials are successful. It would be great for all involved if Excelsior is supported and delivers in the near term. Good luck to Taseko also as this will be a major catalyst for Excelsior.
