Goodfellow might be restrained from operaating at full capacity due to Covid in the area. Sold and switched into Interfor (IFP). More operations in the US than Canada trading at a lower multiple with more growth. GLTA

Judging by the $14M earnings for the quarter, looking like they were still full out. One concern I still have is reduction in value of inventories with reduction in lumber price. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Would likely impact next quarter due to the rapid decline in lumber prices in June. -Will

Yeah, huge earnings this quarter.  Over $2.00 in the first 6 months on a $10 stock.  The market, of course, won't give full credit for these as they will reduce as lumber prices come down and the market slows as other parts of the economy opens, but I'd fully expect to see some big dividends later this year. One other thing I found interesting is they are a net-net stock again very slightly after the most recent results (current assets minus all liabilities is greater than market cap). This provides a level of downside protection, and it's crazy to me that the stock is trading that cheap after the last few

Lumber futures are rebounding and are still at 10 year highs excludinglast year's covid bounce.  There is also fundamental support from strong US housing. https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/commodities/lbs I know GDL does not play the commodity cycle and tries to keep inventories low to avoid getting caught, but this bounce will help to deal with the expensive inventory they had on
