This is nuts. I should have invested in Pd instead of Ag back in the day. Who would have thought of buying Pd coins? Both have price insensitive industrial uses, but Pd has almost no investor demand, unlike Ag. Which is why I'm more bullish Pd than Ag. If Ag goes to $100, you better believe the market will be flooded with sellers! I know I'll be selling my entire stack before then! But ...more

Dreaming here ,zzzzzzz!!!!  but can you imagine the cash flow if GENM went all the way to production in 2024 and. PD price hovered  around 2500 for that first 5 years of production before falling back to 2000 range . Then at the same time copper averaged 5+ for 10 years of production before falling back to 3.50 range . From what I read  , this scenario is not that far fetched ...more

I remember looking at Pd coins in a local coin shop in 2011. I believe the price was $500 oz. I thought they were over priced & bought a stack of silver for $30 oz. But that faux pas did not cure me of investing in PM's, I had to lose a lot more to see that miners are a far better investment than physical metal. But I keep buying PM, not as an investment, but as end of the world money. It ...more

Buying the physical metal is also insurance against ones own bad decisions. One may buy a dog of a company that loses you a bunch of money (I know I've been there!), but 1oz in your posession is always 1 oz! Having a core position of physical is always the place to start. I agree though, buying the miners provides so much more torque to the portfolio (potentially).
