TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY

I'm taking a poll.
Two weeks from today, do you think Sibanye will have:
(A) Passed on their backin option.
(B) Exercised their backin to 51%
or
(C) Made a bid to buy shares of GENM.
Just (A), (B) or (C) response is necessary.  :)

D - squeezed the life out of GENM, and left them for dead.
Comment by tarsands on Jul 08, 2021 11:20am
I think B , but D could be an option, in a sense only though. Meaning that if SS did just stay a silent non contributing partner in the background. then we would have too have the funding all of ourselves. It can be done, and it is being planned by management that it might come too fruitition. so they have been talking too everyone they can. And by the sounds of it they have had plenty of ...more

Incredible management performance and the best is yet to come.  Congratulations to Kerry and Jamie for excellent and rapid execution of everything that had been projected  .  GENM is probably one of the top ten mining stocks in Canada in the last year  .  Regardless of the Sibanye Announcement later this month , this stock will continue to rise extremely well ...more

pardon me, let me try and be more unambiguous:  we are in the middle of YET another blood-letting freefall, and i've been hearing about the 'vast potential' of this company since you were in short pants, sonny.  so i invite you, like a do all the others, to tell me again what's so great about a vastly undervalued stock that never goes anywhere, can't capitalize on ...more

Thank you Ontarioman - your thoughtful posts are always appreciated. Can I talk you into making a guess as to what course of action you think Sibanye might take - (A), (B) or (C)? I'm interested as to what you think they might choose to do in their best interests.
Comment by Ivorygull on Jul 08, 2021 4:53pm
Would they do B and C........... have gained as many shares as possible, then buy back in to be 51%, giving them control and do a hostle take over......could they do that?
Comment by YQTlanding on Jul 08, 2021 6:23pm
Hostel takeover is not possible given that Sprott, Osisko Mining, Lukas Ludin and management own many shares. Most advantage to Sibanye. (B) buy back in to 51%.... And purchase some shares in the open market, which of course will have to be announced during the accumulation period and only for so many shares. Then once permits are given buy the remaining shares at premium. This keeps dilution ...more

V G Post YQT Landing ! In addition : Not if , but when Sibanye owns 10 % of the Generation Shares outstanding , Sibanye must announce that they own 10 percent.  Then they must announce all additional share accumulation s until they own 20 %.  When then hit 20% , they must announce if the accumulation is for investment purposes or for a BUYOUT !!! As well , you have been on ...more

How about option D  kerry did mention an option of sibanye giving generation mining their 18% ownership for shares in our company. I am assuming it was talked about based on his comments. That would throw the market a curve ball.  positive would be us owning 100% of the project.  negative would be we get slightly diluted and still have to carry all costs of building the ...more

Option D does leave the project open to a take over by implats..... without having to deal with sibanye, other than voting rights on an offer.  implats did "steal" North American palladium from me once. Don't want it to happen here. They did very well with that takeover. Wouldn't surprise me if this option happened here they would be knocking at the door close to ...more
