Why does Drew say approval by October when it's 90 days? Is that like final approval after EA is approved?

I think provincial is 90 days and 120 days thereafter for federal.  Or vice versa

Well the way I see it, both the Provincial and Federal Governments have both been in the media saying how important the critical minerals are and they both want to see these projects get started so we Ontario and Canada can be leaders producing these minerals. That is probably why he said October panel has 90 days that's August 19th. So with a majority Ontario PC after June 2nd they will want ...more

The Panel gets 90 days and governments get 120. That is 7 months which would bring us to dec 2022 maybe January 2023. Drew said October for both Panel and governments is what they are hoping for.

The Panel, the ones who just spent a month listening to everyone, has up to 90 days to complete their report and hand over their findings to the Fed and Provincial Environmental Ministers. This is a Joint Review and process by both the Feds and Provincial Governments. That hand over of the report would have to be done by August 19th, but it could be done faster. Better add another three months to that timeline for the summer break and the swearing in of a new ON govt..  April 1/23 ???

Misty, Not sure why you think we should add 3 months to the timeline because the government will be sworn in well before the panel hands over its recommendations to both goverments. I gave the maximum timeline last week 90 days max for the review panel 120 days max for both governments to approve 90 days for the wheels of goverment to issue that actual permit.
