Copper
I read this morning that the Chile Constitutional Convention has voted to nationalize mining. They produce over a quarter of the world's copper. I don't know if nationalization of minining by various countries might be a trend in the coming years affecting other global metal producers. But supporting new sources of production of copper and other metals in North America (such as GENM) would seem to be very good government policy.

I'm not talking about bailouts. All levels of government will receive millions of dollars in taxes and other revenues from the company once it's in production.

In April of this year the Ontario Canadian government announced investing $518 million into the building of 2 new GM plants. I think the Canadian government should invest some money into the Marathon mine. It only makes good sense. I think the GM plants are going to be EV plants. So they will need the copper.
