You gotta think about this. At this point there is not enough minerals out there to fulfill the ambitions the author speaks off. Also when he says 1 in 13 nothing is mentioned about what portion is hybrid. The push to electric vehicles is only in 1st world countries, most second and all thirds populations cant afford these cars. The author is quick to mention that charging a car is equivalent to

I'm sure the author also forgot to add in to the .30 per liter comparison, The road taxes that we pay at the gas puimp here in the USA , on electric vehicles, those taxes are paid when you renew your license plates every year in most states.

Not to mention the cost of installing a charger in your home. Mind you I want this planet cleaned up but they are over estimating how easy it will be.

People think the EV revolution will dominate in a decade. Where will all the power come from ? Ontario is 60 % or more nuclear power but nobody wants the waste in there back yard. So are they going to build more nuclear plants ? I don't think so. Maybe they will build more gas plants to power the EV cars that will save the planet? We need the palladium!!!!!

Ontop of that the average incentive is 5000 in ontario. If 1 million people claim that it will cost 5 billion dollars.
