Webinar comments

Well Jamie mentioned equity financing but then hit the "non-dilutive" point twice as a large shareholder himself.  But I did get him to confirm (with "Yes" and a snicker) that they are considering other "skin in the game" options than equity.

I unfortunately totally missed the webinar. Any other good/new info?

You didn't miss anything.....they are now waiting to hear from the governments re the EA on Nov 30th.
Comment by Supertweety on Nov 17, 2022 11:42am
The best thing I heard in the webinar was that 90% of the BN approved the deal.
Comment by Rainyday on Nov 17, 2022 11:44am
Government approval with conditions appears to be very likely....aiming to begin construction, i.e. harvesting trees and building roads by late Q2 or early Q3, 2023....as per webinar this morning. (From petelazier @ CEO.ca)

Unless something changed Rainday, I'm pretty sure that the plan has been to be late QI early Q2 for the tree cutting and road building.

Yeah, they have been talking about the end of Q1 since the beginning of this year with regard to the start of construction, and that was always going to be the initial cutting down the trees and starting road construction. Kerry had said that a number of times. That would then put them into the end of Q2 and Q3 to work on the 'real' construction. It's all good and they really are ...more

I think our biggest risk off scenario will be updated cost to build the mine. Jamie did mention 15% to 20% higher. Let's say it's 20%.  665 million + 20% would be around 798 million. Not a deal breaker but more financings will be needed.  We have 240 million from Wheaton, hopefully 200 million from EDC, and potential 400 million from European banks. That added up is 840 million ...more

That's a fair analysis Skies.  I think more streaming or smelting will likely fill in the gap.

Crossed fingers, and toes, Dsdsemma.

Pd is running. 15-20% higher than GENM planning estimate, Skies, so let's hope its all a wash.
